3/4 pound Patrick Cudahy? ReaLean Ham cut into 1-inch cubes
2 green onions, thinly sliced
1/2 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
1 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)
1 tablespoon cold water
Combine milk, corn, ham onions and hot sauce in a medium saucepan. Bring to a simmer over high heat. Reduce heat; simmer 5 minutes, stirring occasionally. Mix cornstarch with 1 tablespoon cold water until smooth. Stir into soup; simmer 2 to 3 minutes or until thickened, stirring occasionally. Ladle into bowls; top with cheese if desired.
